Rotaract at UNCW 2006-07 District Rotaract Chair Sean Desmond and John Grimes of the Wilmington Rotary Club have been hard at work to revive the UNCW Rotaract Club.

Presidents Meetings – Planning Guide For Effective Rotary Clubs Please attend your area Presidents-elect meeting with your Assistant Governor and complete the “Planning Guide For Effective Rotary Clubs” by May 31 so that I can have them before I go to the RI Convention in Copenhagen.

March 12th, 2006 in Monday MorningAfter a Friday afternoon of focused Rotary planning, we were then invited to Bevin and Pam’s home for relaxation and fellowship where our hosts prepared a delicious dinner for us. We appreciate Pam and Bevin’s generosity not only in offering their conference center but also in sharing with us their home and gracious hospitality…. All those attending PETS are invited to a VIP Reception to meet RI President-elect Bill Boyd, Rotary Foundation Trustee Ray Klinginsmith, and RI Director Ken Morgan on Thursday evening, March 16th, 8pm, in the Imperial Ballroom, Sheraton Four Seasons in Greensboro.

March 5th, 2006 in Monday MorningDear Rotary Presidents-elect for 2006-07, I want to thank you for the commitment that each of you has made to your Rotary Club to attend PETS on March 17th — 18th and to LEAD THE WAY in your community in the year ahead…. If you were at the District Governor’s Official Visit this past summer, I have already had the opportunity to meet with you about our proposal to have each Rotary club to contribute $10 per member toward our effort to improve District Conference and make it more affordable for our Rotarians.
