District Leaders
By now all the installations have been done and Committee Chairs selected. Welcome to a new Rotary year and thanks to each of you for agreeing to be a leader as we work hard to show that “Rotary Shares”. Please work with your Club Leaders and Committee members as we move forward with renewed enthusiasm and momentum. With this effort, in 12 short months we will be able to look back with pride and say “we made a difference”.
Independence Day — I hope each of you have a very relaxing and meaningful 4 July holiday. Stay safe.
District Goals
Following are our District Goals for the year. Please set your sights on these and start now working to meet them. Keep these goals in front of you and your Club members and make them “dinner time” conversation so they don’t become an after thought.
District Goals 2007 - 2008
- Every Club receive the RI Presidential Citation.
- Our District meet or exceed—$100.00 per member to the Rotary Foundation Annual Programs Fund.
- Our District have a net gain of one member per club.
- Every club send at least two Rotarians to The Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI)
- Every club participate in at least one community and one international project.
- Every club invite as a program at least one person from the District Speakers Bureau.

Presidents, the following clubs still have not submitted their Goal Report Forms. As we’ve said before, these reports are critical since they are used by Rotary International in setting our Foundation Goals for this Rotary year. Please take a moment and get these done.
