Rotary District 7730 is one of 6 districts in North Carolina and 530 Rotary Districts worldwide. It is comprised of 2,100 Rotarians in 48 Rotary Clubs within Southeast North Carolina.

Geographically, the district is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean on the east from the South Carolina line to Beaufort, NC, on the north by US Highway 70 to La Grange, NC, On the west by I-95 to Fayetteville and including Scotland County, and on the south by the South Carolina state line.

District 7730 is known for the strength and diversity of it member Rotary Clubs, their strong civic, community, and vocational identity and involvement, and their support of The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.

Vision Statement for 2007 — 08, Reach for the Stars–Learn about Rotary

The mission of District 7730 is to advise, assist and support Rotarians and their Clubs in the advancement of the Object of Rotary and in the requirements and challenges of the Four Avenues of Rotary Service: club, community, vocational, and international. The purpose of the district is to enhance the effectiveness of each individual Rotary Club through the collective resources that all of its clubs bring to the District.

In support of its Vision and Mission Statement, District 7730 seeks to fulfill the following critical success factors:

  • Provide Rotary education and leadership development at the Rotary club level as well as beyond the club level thereby enhancing the depth of knowledge within the Rotary organization.
  • Assist the club in maintaining a high level of quality in its programs and projects as well as a high level of relevance to the Rotarian and community, and so that membership in Rotary is attractive to both its current members and to future Rotarians.
  • Expand Rotary throughout the district through the generation of new clubs.
  • Encourage the responsibility of Rotary’s role as a catalyst for humanitarian service, goodwill, and peace throughout the larger world community. To this end, the District strives to educate Rotarians on the benefits of The Rotary Foundation and to encourage all Rotarians to support The Rotary Foundation.
  • Encourage commitment to Service Above Self and foster activities that enhance quality of life and human dignity.
  • Embrace high ethical standards and the ideals of the Rotary Four Way Test in all of the District’s decisions and actions.
