The Rotary Foundation also has an endowment, The Permanent Fund. In addition to support of the Annual Programs Fund, many Rotarians consider perpetual support of The Foundation by donating to the endowment.
In this method of giving, only the interest earned on the endowment rolls over into The Annual Programs Fund each year. Rotarians may give now in cash or certain other donations, or they may provide in their Will for a gift to the endowment. Benefactor recognition occurs at $1,000. Bequest Society recognition occurs at $10,000. Additional recognition is available for higher bequests.
