A premier training event for Rotary leaders, Carolinas’ PETS provides information, inspiration, and fellowship. Structured to meet the needs of incoming Club Presidents, incoming Assistant Governors, and Governors Nominee, this one and one-half day training seminar serves all of the Rotary clubs in North Carolina and half of those in South Carolina — more than 325 clubs. Using inspiring speakers and experienced discussion leaders, this eighteen-year-old event is designed to encourage participation. An intensive training seminar, structured to enable the participants to extract maximum benefits from the materials presented as well as from each other.
How do I register & What’s Included?
A registration form can be downloaded & printed by clicking on this link. The registration deadline for this event is January 20th. The most popular registration option includes all meals, materials, and lodging for one night — Friday. Other options add Thursday night lodging or simply registration with no lodging. All fees must be paid by check upon submission of the registration form. Confirmation notices are mailed weekly to those who have registered. Carolinas’ Presidents-Elect Training Seminar (PETS)
Purpose: A seminar for Rotarians who will be serving as club president during the Rotary year, 2004–2005. Participation is required by Rotary International and by our district for all presidents-elect. This is a seven-district seminar sponsored by the six districts in North Carolina and the western district in South Carolina.
The registration form will be mailed to each club’s president-elect.
Presenters typically include Rotary International Directors, Past Presidents, Presidents-Elect, Rotary Foundation Trustees, and other inspiring leaders. There are small group sessions covering: club administration, goal setting, membership development, and international programs.
The 330+ club presidents-elect will have many opportunities for fellowship with others from our district as well as six other districts–A great opportunity to exchange ideas. Four break-out sessions will be presented covering: The President’s Role in Club Administration, Goal Setting, Membership Development, and The Rotary Foundation Programs.
